it's indeed boring

Hey, since when were holidays less of "action-packed" but more of "umm, I'll take naps for 24/7-packed"? I can't wait for the chalet and the student exchange programme, though I'm pretty darn sure the chalet might kind of suck. But it's a great opportunity to spend time with the great outdoors and the most important thing is I won't be cooped up in my room growing mushrooms on my head.
I'm already trying to plan the itineraries and to-bring lists for the chalet. Escape Theme Park alone can drive me bankrupt. Sigh, I wonder how Singapore would be able to survive the economic crisis with its idiotically high prices. Sometimes when I think about the chalet, I wish I didn't decide to book it. It's just too expensive, and we would have to go broke to have fun. But, there doesn't seem to be any choice, right? Janet can continue complaining about how she'll run out of money during the chalet, but let's face it, it's just like that. The price of that glass of water you drink from everyday has increased by 20%. The electricity bills of the computer you use to listen to radio everyday has also increased. Sooner or later, Singapore would morph into a money-eating monster to keep up with the advancing world. There's nothing much we can do about it.
I attended my brother's performance at my primary school today. It was honestly boring but his performance was pretty good. Call me biased, but it's really a fact. The audience would have slept a long time ago if not for his performance. Hah.
Right, I guess I'll just leave it here.

personality test

I read this on Qiu Ping and Hui Yen's blogs earlier, and I decided to complete it because I was bored. After taking a look at my report, I find that some statements are actually quite accurate, though all of them are computer-generated, so it doesn't really mean something, I guess?

Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:
You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.

Your views on education:
You may not like to study but you have many practical ideas. You listen to your own instincts and tend to follow your heart, so you will probably end up with an unusual job.

The right job for you:
You have plenty of dream jobs but have little chance of doing any of them if you don't focus on something in particular. You need to choose something and go for it to be happy and achieve success.

How you view success:
You are confident that you will be successful in your chosen career and nothing will stop you from trying.

What you are most afraid of:
You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.

Who your true self is:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

happy birthday Hui Jie

Happy Birthday Hui Jie!!!
You should be really honoured, because I'm actually risking going to detention by blogging in the school computer lab!
It's so touching, right? Hahah!
Hope your birthday rocks!!!

four songstresses

Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Beyonce and Leona Lewis are all fighting in the battle to top the British charts when they release their singles in UK on the same day - November 3!
They love me so much.

The singles to be released include...
Womanizer - Britney Spears (I thought that the song was super catchy and anyway, it was a huge success because it took an amazing leap from #96 to #1 on the Billboard charts in one day.)
Keeps Getting Better - Christina Aguilera (I haven't listened to this song yet, though I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be disappointing...?)
If I Were a Boy - Beyonce (I didn't bother to listen to it on iTunes but I guess it would be alright.)
Forgive Me - Leona Lewis (Something new for the time being. I can't wait to listen to it...)

From the looks of it, I think that either Britney Spears or Leona Lewis will clinch that position after the release of the record-breaking "Womanizer". Moreover, Leona Lewis is huge in the UK... keep your fingers crossed, perhaps?

high school musical 3

I went out with Hui Yen, Isaac and Jerome to Downtown East after our ICT training to have lunch and catch "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" at E!hub. In my opinion, I think that it was a better movie as compared to the other High School Musical movies because it had better music and the actions were funnier (Troy doing a groovy dance in a tuxedo was... awkward, actually). For example, the scene where Gabriella just "popped" out and said "TROYYYY" made me laugh my head off. The scene where Sharpay and Tiara were fighting for the spotlight was funny because they got hidden under the stage. It was a good ending movie because High School Musical 2 was honestly... weak. However, the ending of the movie was still crap but the music and choreography were great.
While we were headed to Downtown East, Hui Yen told me that she sent an SMS to Yi Ren earlier before and said that he was leaving the group. It was the first time (I think) she had been so direct, but I agree with her in a way, I guess. Apparently, she was angry at Yi Ren because he posted comments about us not bidding goodbye to him during the class barbecue... I did, actually, just that he ignored me so I couldn't do anything. Hmm, but since it's our last year together, we shouldn't be so particular about things so I was glad Hui Yen called it off. I hope that we would come to a conclusion about these kinds of situations, I guess?

thursday and friday

I think this would make a lengthy but awesome post.

Thursday (23/10/08)
I went to two cell meetings today. Well, it was actually one because Rebekah had a chocolate fondue party and I had to leave before they even started the real thing. The cell at Rebekah's was packed and the food was great. We had icebreaker games but I was too slow so I kind of spoiled the fun, I guess.
TayXi's cell was quite special as there were only Ngee Ann Secondary students there. The Anglican High seniors had to study for their "O" Levels, so it was a pretty small group. We started off the cell meeting with a sing-along session as usual and played some weird dancing game. We wrote messages about each other and it was great to see what people thought about us. After the cell, I was EXHAUSTED and I had to wait for almost half an hour for the bus. Sigh, but I didn't regret coming.

Friday (24/10/08)
Friday evening was great. I went to the class barbecue along with HuiYen, Isaac, JunJie and YiRen. Initially, we thought we were behind time because we couldn't find the shuttle bus stop and we arrived late. Benedict's apartment was really nice and well-maintained. We started off by soaking ourselves wet in the swimming pool (with our clothes on) as we thought it would be inconvenient if we did it before we left. It was fun as usual, but some classmates played pranks on the guests by hiding their slippers in a "cave" while we were playing in the water. The barbecued food was great, though the chicken wings were quite salty but nice! I also played balloon volleyball with HuiYen in the function room which was super exhausting but NICE!!! We also had activities such as charades and name-calling games. I lost in one round for charades and my penalty was to kiss a person of the same gender! I was totally freaked out, furthermore, XiuYun kept forcing me to pick someone to kiss! LOL!!! In the end, I didn't because Rebekah didn't even notice I had a penalty and told us to start a new game because the room was too noisy. Heheh, thank goodness!!! We also played games like "Big Fish and Small Fish". Classic, heheh. The people who lost the game had to eat wasabi or put it on their cheeks. I hate wasabi!!!
After the games, I went to sit on the recliners with HuiYen and Isaac and we were "moon tanning". HAHAH! We used the styrofoam cups to collect water from the swimming pool and attacked Isaac. When Isaac was busy running away, I pretended to be a model and did stupid sexy poses on the recliner to crack HuiYen up. LOL!!! Because the person who made noise first is entitled to be pushed into the swimming pool. Yay!
TayXi came to find us later and we had a race of who could walk across the pool the fastest without getting our pants wet. I raced with a chicken wing on my hand, but JunJie cheated and in the end he splashed water on our pants! HAHAH, disqualified! We sat by the swimming pool for a while and talked. Hmm, it was the first time I really talked to TayXi, I think. When she was drying her feet, she ran around to dry it and it was super funny. LOL!!!
The festivities came to an end and we went home. While we were walking out of the apartment (it was very big) at night, I dropped my phone on the pavement and was unwary about it until JunJie notified me. THANKS JUNJIE!!!
On the bus ride home, I thought about quite a lot of stuff. About whether the chalet would be successful, if I would enjoy my student exchange programme in South Korea and if I would get into the class I want since everyone is trying to compete with one another. I'm tired of competition.

I went to the barber and I have a new hairstyle... well, not really. My fringe totally changed, though. I hope I don't look weird.

As you can see (if you did read the archived entries of this blog), I have done this quiz before but I removed the remaining few questions because I didn't have enough songs that time to complete this quiz, so here I am, redoing it. Heheh.

goodbye 2R4

Well, to be honest, it actually hurts me a lot to say goodbye to 2R4. Although me and my friends are disliked a lot in class, we grew up and shared experiences together that I'm sure to cherish.
When I was studying before the final year exams, Melissa told me that our time left together as a class wasn't long anymore. At that time I really didn't care much because I felt that our class was always also separated. The students who said that we were not united were the ones who first had prejudiced opinions about us. Isn't it a classic case of "pot calling kettle black"? As disappointed as I may feel right now, I really can't bear to leave the class. Although I remember the times when Jasmine was bullied at her tagboard, when Janet was insulted and when the Malay girls were called "black", I can still remember the fun we had during Orientation, the laughter I shared with my friends and the various experiences we have been through together. Though we may not be bonded, each and every one of us has a totally different spirit and personality and that's what makes us unique.

22.10.08

second chance

Today's assembly was super long. We got our verification slips and my results kind of... sucked. But I'm happy, don't know why. I didn't expect to get so low for D&T. I got 90 for the paper and my folio was alright :( Again, I barely made it into the top 10 in class... I got 10th in position, no comment. I know whoever reading this is satisfied that you beat me. Hahah. Don't mock me okay! :(
The decision-making for the subject combination was really hard. I wanted to go for Chemistry and Physics with either Computer Studies or Principles of Accounts. Actually, I was considering Principles of Accounts instead, since I don't think I would make the cut for Computer Studies. But, I'll end up taking 4 subjects which involve calculations, so I rethought. In the end, I put Triple Science as my first choice because it has the combination I wanted in 8 subjects but not 7, and I really did not want to choose between Physics and Biology and end up going crazy like how Janet did. And I got As for Math and Science anyway, so I'll just give it a try :/
I had one 7-subject choice because I really didn't want to take D&T. What if I surprisingly get a C5 for it during the "O" Levels? NO THANKS.
Right, so I'm already EXTREMELY lucky that I can take A Math, considering the difficulty of the SA2 paper. I hope HuiJie and TayXi would be able to make the cut. Good luck! :)

21.10.08

results day 2

I got back my History and Math papers today. Before I went to the classroom, me and HuiYen went to find Mdm Sharizah to get the forms for the student exchange programme. I'm going to South Korea for the second time! Heheh! I went there last year. The date is from 17 to 22 November, which was the exact same date when I went to South Korea last time. So cool. Heheh.
Back to the results. I could remember how I felt when I entered the classroom. I can almost eat my heart out with all that anxiety I was feeling. In the end, I got 92 marks for History. I couldn't believe it. LOL! Ms Lavania rocks. HEHEH. My overall grade was pulled up from a B4 to an A1. Happy happy. However, my Math wasn't up to my expectations, but I think it is alright. I got 66.5 marks and when I calculated my overall, I got an A2. So... okay, I guess. Mr Hazmi said someone from 2R6 scored full marks for the paper 1. Gay shit :( Anyway, I managed to get an additional two marks for the paper 2 (it was catastrophic, LOL.)
The thing I'm most happy about is my Humanities. I managed to get 2 A1s at last. Sigh, my Literature was a mark from A2. Pathetic.
When I got home today, I had to wait outside my house for around 2 hours because I was so stupid! My maid told me she will be out to take my brother to my cousin's house and told me to bring my keys and have my lunch outside. I totally forgot what she said and I ended up making a fool out of myself. Sigh. It was so embarrassing.

20.10.08

results day 1

I got back my Science and Geography papers today. After calculating the overall marks, I got A1s for both of them. I'm actually quite happy, but my Geography was a borderline A1, so I guess I'll have to see how well I will fare for the remaining papers tomorrow. Math makes me quiver. Serene's friend from 2R5, Germaine, got back her History paper today and she scored 94 marks. That is so crazy, seriously. This just makes me more nervous.
Anyway, Ms Lim really gave us a shock today. She said 13 of us scored an A1, which was quite little as compared to the previous few terms. I was quite restless because ever since Physics was introduced, I was unable to score well for Science (I got B3 for Term 3.) But when I received my paper and saw my marks, I was really relieved because I got the exact same mark as I did during the Mid-Years: 84 marks. I really have to thank God for this miracle. Heheh.
After we got back our papers today, Mrs Gloria Tan talked to us about choosing Elective/Pure Geography and/or Art in Secondary 3. She was actually kind of warning us about the dark sides of these subjects, but the only choice for Humanities I have left is Elective Geography, so be nice please :(

19.10.08

freaking horrified

OMG Hui Yen told me that the students of 2R5 said that 18 of the pupils there failed Math. Also 2R5 was the 2nd class who scored highest for that subject!!! OH MY GOODNESS. I want to die already!!! Ms Lim even told 2R5 that most of them either got A1 or flunked Science!!! I want to cry already lah. I can almost imagine Mr Hazmi walking in and telling us that the class either got A1 or F9. I'm so nervous. I don't want to get back my results :(
When I was at the SDC, I went to the cafeteria and Ms Lim said "Hi" to me but gave me an expression that implied that she was kind of disappointed for some reason. I damn scared la. Oh my goodness. Geng Hao, you have to walk into that classroom and get your results in a positive attitude. Don't let this bring you down.
Anyway, I was chatting with YiRen and I asked JunJie what my old blog address was. I just remembered it was pulseblast, but I deleted it. LOL. Anyway, I've been thinking of my old usernames. Hmm, hahayoudumbkids. LOL! I can still remember when my classmates were in the D&T room collecting email addresses. I think I can only remember a handful of those names, like mslonelygal or piscezgirl. Hmm. pokemon4ever1 and winterfield_94. LOL!!!

18.10.08

last one standing

123rd post!
Before you read the below entry, please note that whatever written below is purely my opinion and you are entitled to have different views.

SPOILER ALERT!
Okay, I admit that I'm a Hong Kong drama fanatic since I was Primary 5. I have no choice because my mom totally influenced me. Recently (actually, just) I just finished a serial called "Last One Standing". It's about betrayal and a man's process of taking his revenge and proving his innocence. It stars Kevin Cheng and Yoyo Mung. I had to say that the serial was one of the best I have seen including Heart of Greed and Forensic Heroes I and II, but the ending was really disappointing. It was a total cliffhanger, and I think that the producer should have added a few more episodes. Honestly, it totally changed my view about the serial. The ending was just as weird as that of Heart of Greed's, you know, Sheung Tsoi Sum dancing in the rain with some other guy whose name escapes me and the evil mother driving a car on the pathway trying to kill some random guy? Gosh. The TV industry is really failing audiences these days. Even if the serial wanted us to think about what has happened to the characters, I still don't get why they ended this way. Sigh. I regretted renting the serial, but if you want to, just rent the episodes but not the finale. Anyway, Hong Kong serials are still better than Singapore. No doubt.

17.10.08

singapore discovery centre

LOL today seriously sucked big time -_- It was super boring. We took a 1 hour bus ride to Jurong and went to the Singapore Discovery Centre. I slept on the way there. When we arrived, we had to walk all the way to some hall where they handed us some form to complete and told us to go on some Amazing Race thingum. When we tried to find the clues, we couldn't because the centre was so damn confusing. There was an upper level and a lower level. I really, really didn't enjoy it. We went for a break next. It wasn't even a proper break because most of us ended starving ourselves because... come on, $2.50 for a bar of chocolate? No way. I ate a pathetic packet of Twisties which cost me $2. After that we took a tour bus around SAFTI, and then played some game in the Visionarium which confused the hell out of me. Honestly. Maybe the fun part was when we tried tickling each other's backs? It was super contagious, the tickling.
Anyway, halfway through the excursion, the slow me realised Melissa and Victoria weren't there. LOL. TayXi said they went to the "Bananakan Museum". They went to the Peranakan Museum. Anyway, the excursion was a failure.
On the bus back, YiRen and Jonah sat behind me and talked about tons of Christian stuff which made me eventually fall asleep. When I woke up, they were still talking. Right, lame.
I had CCA today, went home alone. Yawn. I'm so tired. I came back from Changi Airport, had my dinner there. Hahah. Bye.

16.10.08

NEWater

Wow, today was super tiring. School was boring so nvm :/
After the last assembly programme in the hall, I was still at the control room. I thought the teachers were giving out the CCA point forms, so I rushed down to get the forms for me and Isaac, but it turns out they didn't release it. Frustrated as I was, I went down to the canteen to buy a drink and saw KiatKiong there. Heh. I think I walked really slowly because I got the excursion bus simply... waiting for me there. It was so surprising. I thought it wasn't so soon, hahah. We got our CCA point forms in the bus, anyway -.- I got 11 points for the two years. I think it was quite alright. I should get around 9 points next year and another 4 in Sec 4 to get those 2 bonus points! :)
Wait, I can still bargain with Mdm Sharizah for more CCA points. I volunteered in some competitions. Anyway, I think Mdm Sharizah rocks. LOL.
So, we went to walk around the NEWater Visitor Centre exhibit. It was simply... yawn. Our "tour guide" was funny, though. She looks like a robot, acts like a robot, and sounds like a robot. LOL. I could remember her line "please do not engage in videotaking for security reasons" or something like that. LOL.
When we were dropped off in school, many of them left WITHOUT PAYING THE $20!!! Hey, why are you people so anxious to go home? Even HuiYen wants to watch her 2.30pm show but she still put up with it. Hmph.
I went to the Megamath for a so-called debrief. Dots, when I went there they just kept dragging things and in the end, Lexus did not debrief and just dismissed us. LOL? We met YiRen and then went to Tampines Mart for lunch. I accidentally bought him OREO MILK TEA. LOL!!! Even the sound of it creeps me out. Oreos in milk tea? EWWWWKS!
In the end we totally rushed to the bus stop desperately to board a bus to Rebekah's house. Her apartment was very small but cool too! There were two entrances. Hah!
We then rushed to TayXi's cell at Natalia's house. OMG. Totally desperate. After the cell, I went home and I saw bus 39, so I ran desperately to catch it but it just dashed through because there were too many buses on queue (four, to be exact). How inconsiderate :/
And Mdm Sun was so cute when she was on the runway in the NEWater Visitor Centre! Hahah! A little birdie told me that she rushed back home after the excursion and changed and she was spotted at the bus stop 5 minutes later. Amazing :O
Okay bye!

EDIT:
If anyone has this song, "I Wanna" by The All-American Rejects (shh, favourite band since Primary 5. LOL!), please kindly send it to me because I can't seem to find it anywhere. Thanks in advance! (I want the studio version please!!! I know it's live at the Nike Human Race.)
Argh, YouTube is being flooded by Chipmunk versions of popular songs. It's so stupid + dumbass. Seriously!!! I can almost imagine Womanizer in Chipmunk with all that hype going on... gives me teh creeps.

15.10.08

post-exam activites

Today's post-exam activities were boring, asdfghjkl!!!
We had a talk on subject combination today! It was so confusing! And the projector at the temporary canteen totally sucks! They should have blinds next time! HAH.
During the talk, I didn't understand half of what Mdm Sharizah was talking about. There was, what, four types of Sciences? There's pure (which I'm not going to take), combined (it's a total waste, and I'd rather take Chemistry and Physics separately), double (I'm considering this) and triple (you know it, I know it). The HOD of Science said that Triple Science is going to be tough because we will be taking 9 hours of Science a week, but I think it's quite okay. Science has to be my favourite subject, anyway. Even if Physics makes me want to die. I'm totally crazy. I must have confidence to think that I can maximize my potential and go to any subject combination I want!!!
The Humanities are confusing also. Why does Ngee Ann have to only allow Pure Geography and Pure English Literature instead of allowing Pure History too? I don't even see why they can't allow all three subjects, dots. Anyway, I've kind of made up my mind for Humanities. I'm taking Combined SS + Geography. I don't care if I get B3 or what for Geography. I seriously can't take History. It simply, sucks.
I'm not considering Art and D&T. No way. I design as a hobby, not a subject. It just won't be fun :P So, I've come down to two choices:

1) English, Chinese, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, A Math, E Math, Social Studies + Elective Geography, Computer Studies/Pure English Literature (both sound interesting, and Computer Studies seem easy.)

2) The 1st combination just that it's only Chemistry and Physics.

14.10.08

timebomb

I went out with friends today to Downtown East to catch a movie. We had Japanese for lunch first but we took up too much time and in the end we entered the theatre late. The movie, surprisingly, was The House Bunny ._. TBQH, the movie was hilarious and it was quite nice. Hahah, "it's f*cken hot!"
After the movie we roamed aimlessly around Pasir Ris ._. then we took the bus to IKEA Tampines and ended up stalling at the bus stop. Yawn. I went home from there after some chatting.

13.10.08

pleased

Today was alright. I got back my language papers today and I got A1s for both of them. Haha! Happy happy. However I'll still get a B for Chinese because I screwed up the earlier 55% of the whole year for it, and my compo wasn't very great. Heh. I think I would be able to get an A for English. I just hope that I would pass my English compo. Lately, I've been having language problems. So far, I got 48.5 for the first half, so I think it's quite okay.
Anyway, I stayed back with HuiYen, Pearlyn and Isaac today to explore the new building with the CCA mates. We had to shift our equipment there and the control room is huge (as compared to the slum-like conditions we had in the temporary canteen.)
The hall was simply, sexy. LMAO. I did not have a chance to see the auditorium though. Heh.
I'll post some pictures up soon. I just hope HuiYen would come online... quick!

EDIT:
Here are the pictures!!!

The indoor sports hall, with lime green lights!

They seem to be working out something, anyway...

The view of the old building from the new building!

To be quite honest, I really like the font of the text on the notices.

The door seems to serve as two exits ._. How was that possible?

I can see your LIGHT shining through!!! 8)

The new court for the volleyball players. Woosa~!

HuiYen's oh-so-awesome photo-taking skills!

Something random we noticed when we were going down the stairs!

We took this for fun! How nice!

fa-fa-fa

Oh my goodness, my heart's beating like crazy because I'm so anxious about tomorrow's results. I've never been so nerve-wrecked over results in my whole secondary school life, but this is the end-of-year examinations, so it's different. Heh.
I must not fail either/both of my English papers, nor my Chinese (in overall). Gosh! Yikes. Haha.
Bye.

oh em effing gee

OH MY GOODNESS. This is totally random but I just realised I didn't label my graph. GOSH. 1 mark flies away. Bye!
Anyway, I'm not going to pursue the matter any further. Since you read it, it's fine. That's what I wanted. You don't need to post full length entries about me. Whether I misunderstood or not, I'll know it myself because either way, I still felt hurt.
And to HuiYen, sorry for lashing out at you today. Your response made me very angry. Heheh. Now I know why Janet insulted you that time. Oh well. I spoke my mind and I'm also not going to continue talking about it :) At least I was being honest.
To Isaac, if you didn't get my message, I won't be going for the CCA gathering because the rest won't be going. If I do, I'll feel left out. I don't want to trouble you and make you think that it was my problem there was no teamwork and make you complain to Pearlyn again. Because seriously, it's totally cool that you don't really like me since you accused HuiYen of taking sides with me too. I'm fine. Just that, you know, right. Jerome and SiYing are my mates but I won't be able to enjoy it without the rest.

exams are so... 9 hours ago

Okay so I went to sleep from 2pm to 6pm just now! Haha! I'm going to catch up on the tons of days of lack of sleep during the holidays, because I have nothing better to do! All the games are downloading, the blogs I read don't update much and the MSN games I play cock up on me sometimes. -_-
Anyway, I haven't properly blogged about the Math Paper 2. Well, it was a disaster. I even wonder how the setter could finish under the stipulated time limit (without the answer key). It's a 1h 15min paper, just to cut it short... and there's 8 questions and 3 sub-questions on average for all of them. So that's 24 questions. Most of the questions have super long workings (if it's not forming equations out of triangles, it's finding all things under the Sun for the mensuration shit -_-.) There's even a quadratic graph where the points have to estimated. How can I even finish this within 1h 15min man. It would be more humane if the setter gave us at least 15min extra.
Now this pathetic me has to depend on the Math Paper 1 ._.
Anyway, I feel so bored. Obviously, I won't be able to sleep later tonight. I slept for 4 hours. I didn't delete the previous post because surprisingly, Janet wanted him to read it. Argh. I'm trying to find something to do now. Bye.

math paper 2

I lost 18 marks for this paper. Oh well.
Very disappointed today. I thought I'd be so happy after the exams. Turns out that everything made me sad today. YiRen said he wanted to skip my chalet so he could go to church. I can't believe he could even think of it. I know he loves God more than anyone else, but he didn't choose to spare a thought for us. I can't believe I made this choice to patch things up with him. He was just using this time to go to church. It's our last three days together. Isaac's even migrating when he graduates. Will we enjoy our final time together as a group? I really wanted to cry when he said that. It's very disappointing. Everything to him now is cell, bible study, church, prayer meetings and many is sick of him trying to force them to become a Christian by saying that they would burn in hell. It's so hell fucking disappointing. I feel like calling everything off. How I wish he didn't say that. If he didn't, I wouldn't feel like uninviting him. Making use of this opportunity to go to church instead of giving me just a little support. He can always go on Sunday, I don't know why he's like this.
Everything he does makes me angry nowadays. And sad. Yesterday, I briefly went to the library with him. He seemed angry at me for even showing up. He totally ignored me and treated me like a distraction because he kept on passing notes to HuiYen, making me feel like I'm some outsider and he wanted me to leave so he could properly talk to HuiYen. I'm quite sad at HuiYen also. In the end, I left with Christon. HuiYen told me he could even be angry when I just wanted to discuss the heart diagram on his notebook with him. He always doesn't think what I say is right. He just doesn't treat me like he treats anyone else. Whatever bad things he does on me, it's always on purpose. I can always see that.

I can't help but type this complaint post. Hopefully, I'll remove it when I calm down.
How should I feel? If I show that I am angry, he will think that I'm a piss-off. If I hide how I feel and continue to be so carefree, he will continue to take me down because he just doesn't really like me. He even said he hated me (to the core). I think the reason why he seems to not hate me now is because he turned into a Christian, not because he really thought things out. I wish he wasn't so jealous. I feel hurt. I wish for too many things.

9.10.08

science paper

Hooray, Science paper is finally over. It's been the subject I'm most afraid of. Hahah.
Overall, the paper was fine, just that I made some mistakes with the calculations and that question of the fish in that tank. Hah.
It's those kinds of papers that make you feel like you will get an A1, but not a high one. I don't know how to say it. Hahah. All I know is I really want to get an A1.
Tomorrow's Math 2. And I'm so happy because it's the last paper!

8.10.08

history paper

Okay, so naming the post after the paper I take each day (this week) is a great excuse to not think of a stinking title. Heh.
So, I had History. Today. One of the essay questions was the one I didn't memorise, but THANK GOODNESS I did some last-minute memorising of it so I roughly know what's going on with that Hertogh girl. -_-
I did the essay questions first because I was afraid I did not have enough time to do it if I complete my source based first :/ In the end, there was around 50 minutes left and I did the source based, and I finished the paper with only 5 minutes to spare. I know, my time consumption is EPIC when it comes to completing source based questions X.X
Anyway, I hope I get an A for the History paper -_- In my opinion, I thought it was quite so-so, but my source based can be so unpredictable.
Oh well, tomorrow's Science. 科学. Sains. Okay never mind. HAH HAH. -_-

I watched some London dining show on Discovery Travel and Living this afternoon. I was bored so yeah. It was quite nice but they were very rotten. I don't know how to put this into words. LOL. The show is about a group of five food enthusiasts and they have to each host one dinner in their home for one night, so, there was this woman who got 28/40 (over 40 because there is 4 guests) for her ratings and the rest got 24. When they went for the latest host's dinner, she rated him a 3/10 and in the end he got 27/40. Better yet, all her remarks were extremely positive. It's so sickening ._. These kinds of people simply make me want to kick their ass. Seriously.

7.10.08

math paper 1

111th post :O
I sat for the first Math paper today. Overall, it was good. I think I can get a high A1 provided the marker is lenient x/ (Don't be overconfident.) There were some careless mistakes, however, but all those questions were 2-mark questions so I guess I'll get some marks for the methods. Heheh. There was this question which made me feel really confused. Haha, it's the last one I think. My answer was 80 degrees but many answered 100. Jasper even said it was obtuse but when I thought about it again, the triangle was actually sloping downwards, so he didn't manage to smash my hopes. HAH. (Not that 100 degrees is confirmed to be the wrong answer, though. Obviously, it's not drawn to scale.)
Anyway, tomorrow's History. I memorised two essays in the hope that they will appear in the section!!! If they don't, I'm so dead, I swear.

6.10.08

geography paper

Hi! So the Geography paper was a little screwed up because I thought I didn't give any plausible answers :/ But never mind. What's over IS indeed over (what Serene always tells me when I brag about how badly I did for a paper...)
I don't think I will fail anyway. HAH, confidence! But I really hope so :S I really want to get 56/70. Hah, what an accurate mark (there's something to it).
Okay anyway...
Happy Birthday Yi Ren!!!
I went to Tampines Mall after the paper (again... -_-) and 291 was as packed as usual. I went to the library first to study with HuiYen, XiuYun, Michelle, Christon and YiRen... lots of people = more distraction, so we didn't last that long. After that, we went to MOS Burger to eat. It was quite okay, just that Christon hates that place... a lot -_-
I went to Popular to buy my calculator next. Only HuiYen followed me up. Hah. I bought the Casio one, heheh. I had no choice anyway, they didn't sell Sharp models at Popular. By the way, Casio calculators are actually cheaper. Well, at least that's what XiuYun said.
I have to go and memorise my History soon :X Bye!

5.10.08

i should really be studying

I'm here to blog (ridiculously) for my dear readers!!! 8) (I sounded so thick skinned in that sentence. I hope so, anyway.)
I had two sessions of tuition today. Both of them are 2 hours each... so, that's 4 hours of Math. However my other tuition's had its last lesson today so yay!!! I just feel bad for quitting that tuition before it ended because I have been following that tuition class for 3 years already. Amaaazing right right right? :)
But, if you people are reading this, it's a week of stress in exchange for SIX weeks of relaxation!!! That's right. Five weeks is still more than a month so let's not fret but rejoice!!! :)
So, you guys have a great reason to mug harder right now. It's uncertain if I can do well for the exams but what the heck! Have a good sleep and take regular breaks in between your study sessions! The longer you study, the more ineffective it gets because you might tend to forget some things and end up getting stressed up. Don't do that pl0xzx, but INSTEAD, EAT BANANAS during your breaks!!! Good ol' bananas! Stress-killers! (btw, make sure you shit before taking the exam.) HAHHAHHAH!
Okay! Before you take the exams, pray hard for the wisdom and that you will do well. If you stumble upon a question that really gives you a hard hit on the head, move on and think about it later! You will end up being less nervous and not wasting your time. That's killing two birds with a stone, though we shouldn't literally do that :O
While you're completing your paper, do take note of the time! Use a few seconds to tilt that lazy head of yours UP and glance at the clock. You should have ample time to finish so no worries. However, if you do not have much time left (3 minutes, 1 minute tops) look at the questions which you can do in that time span and see the marks! The higher the weightage the more you should considering doing it.
In conclusion, these are just some tips to take note of when you are in the exam room. Before I end this post, remember to study healthily. Waking up at 3am with coffee on your coaster to study the night RIGHT before your exam would really strain your thinking.
Anyway, good luck and complete the papers with a positive attitude. No anxiety, no fear! Just take it like a gust of wind :D

3.10.08

out through the curtain

Helloh, I was quite tired today and I slept during Maths lesson. Good thing I finished the Maths paper Mr Hazmi told us to do in class.
I forgot to bring all my Science things today so I just pretended to "bring" them by replacing them with my foolscap pad and notebook, LOL. Lame replacement but I really packed the wrong day.
During CME, Mr Ong distributed our D&T test papers. It kind of caught me by surprise because it was CME, not D&T (doh, lmao). I got 90% in the end and I was quite happy because I skipped the sandpaper question (3 marks?) and only 1 mark was deducted from the rest! I fulfilled one target (to get above 80% for D&T). Let's see how well I do for my folio... :S
We watched a movie in the computer lab for the rest of the lesson. I didn't because I thought I would be quite unproductive so I studied History as I planned to sleep when I got home. Hehe.
Okay, I'm signing out, see you around.

2.10.08

print notes for huiyen and xiuyun

WOOHOO! I finally remembered to turn on my phone when I reached home and get HuiYen's call later. I should print out my notes soon. I hope I don't forget to bring it tomorrow. Every time someone asks me to print something for them and I have to bring it to school the next day, I will feel so freaked out for no apparent reason because I'm so afraid that I might forget to bring it. HEHE. Okay, I'm crapping :)
So, after school I went to have lunch at Tampines Mart. It has been a super duper long time since I went there. I went to eat with XiuYun for the first time. Hoho. Michelle initially tagged along but chose to eat with others instead. Haha.
I stayed back in class after that to copy YiRen's History essays. I made it into short point statements so I think I can study better. I managed to memorise quite a lot of History stuff and get the Science techniques right. Phew. Melissa studied with us though. Quite surprising, hehe.
During English lesson today, Mdm Jamilah showed us a global warming documentary and when I watched it, I just felt so sad. As I flip through my Geography textbook and National Geographic magazine, I feel that I already have a better reason to recycle the 20+ plastic containers stuffed in the kitchen. Hehe.
Anyway, I got 90% for the Maths test and I feel quite alright (-_-) because I think I did well? Just that the "list the elements of this set" question cost me 3 marks which was kind of wasted.
