i guess i'll just save my breath

BYD was pretty much a flop because few people wore 60s style clothes.
Anyway, why do we have to follow a dress code when it is BE YOURSELF Day??? Beats me.
I had duties today... I was supposed to reach Megamath at 7am sharp but I totally forgot about it and left home at 6.55am. I even forgot to tell Pearlyn she had duties too. I was quite guilty for making her rush all the way just to make it in time :X She didn't, anyway.
The first item was the ACES dance thingy. They were dancing to some MIKA song which was played over and over again throughout the day. It even made me wonder which was more boring - the music or the programme.
I walked around the temporary canteen/basketball court with the DSLR hung around my neck. I realised I looked like an idiot, but who cares anyway. Haah. After the ACES thingy was the Talent Quest which took the rest of the day. I like the Secondhand Serenade and JET performance :D
However, 2R4 did well too.
Okay so that's about it for today o_O
I hope I would be able to study well for the exams. Hmm.

Heheh. HuiYen got 71% and Pearlyn 67%! JYJY :)
Our class got highest in level for Science and Geography because Jasper is such a pro shit.

igniting in my veins

School is better because I brought my book along. If not, I will just have to sit there and do nothing.
I'm currently reading up my past Chinese exam papers and taking down notes and stuff -.- I got 60 for Chinese overall, it's a miracle, really.
Anyway, The Kite Runner is about to be finished. After like what, 3 months?!
It's a great book, though :)
After this, I'll have to study Science (I still can't get electricity, seriously) and do my tuition homework. I'm feeling so lazy.
I'll also have to stay back tomorrow to finish up my D&T project :( I have to get home by 4 if not I'll be dead! Argh. Which means that I have to end the stupid project by 3. Totally crazy. Well, at least I'm better because Jun Jie is still buffing the workpiece. Haha.
Hmm, today was quite okay but I was a little pissed off by Janet because she hurled vulgarities again. Argh. I'll try to find a way to stop her from using so much of her "colourful" language. So much for a "good heart" :(
I have to stop listening to other's rants, saying that they totally did not study for the exams and yet scored higher than me. It seriously makes me complacent and pissed off. I know that you write 5 pages of notes every day, alright. What is so bad about telling others you studied? You obviously want people to know you're born smart or you can ace exams without lifting a textbook right? Oh I'm online everyday and I don't study. I'm so smart. Yawn.
I went home alone today. The odd group had to stay back for extra D&T, Isaac pulled HuiYen away for CCA matters and Serene ate lunch outside of home, haha.

english results

I decided to blog after HuiYen went offline! :)
Today, I got back my English scripts. I screwed it up, obviously.
One of the pages had only 1 mark. My summary couldn't even turn things around. This is so crappy, I would either just pass my English or get A1 for it. Same goes for Chinese. Sickening.
Ee Hui Jie got 38 but she then got 40 because of her comprehension marks!!! Argh. How I wish getting extra marks was THAT convenient for me.
The highest is 49.5 I think. That's mad, in short. I can still remember getting 50 marks for a stupid practice paper in Sec 1.
In between lessons I slept, and while I was sleeping, I just suddenly shook the table, which was scary. I immediately woke up after that. I've experienced this quite a lot of times. The shaking, lol.
After school I went to Tampines Mall to get Serene's birthday present.

looking back

I spent some time just now looking back into the past and trying to figure out how much I've matured.
I used to keep a diary which was frequently collecting dust as I could not bother to update it. However, it kind of was sufficient to help me think about some things. The diary was kept from around the last few months of 2006.
Okay... so my entries were always about my primary school classmates. I wrote in a gay way also =X. I wrote about Timothy, EnYong, MingXuan, MingRui, Zoey, Samantha and all those who were closer to me in my P6 days, about Jody, Azhari and Jeneva when I was in P4, all my arguments with YeYin, and the time where I was obsessed with pop and hip-hop music, haha. I kind of found it silly but I was a good read, even though it was really, really gay-ed out. I also wrote about how tense I felt when I received my PSLE results and when I first stepped into Ngee Ann for registration, and I pictured how we had to sit in a circle and introduce ourselves.
I wrote about the games we played during Orientation, the part where we had to tie our feet together, about me slacking away during my previous CCA and watching my classmates play soccer from the volleyball court. Also, I wrote about the time I went to watch the volleyball match against NYGH and the tuna sandwich Isaac bought for me to eat in the excursion bus.
I wrote about the time when me and my friends had IT enrichment and ate cup noodles on a rainy day. I wrote about a lot of things which happened in my Sec 1 life, like my first lunch with HuiJie and Pearlyn, the fight between Jasper and me, and lots more.
This is such a silly post. But, it makes me think back about the happier things that happened in 2007, the relationships I sparked with my classmates which grew colder in time.
My parents had this totally crazy idea to transfer my brother to Poi Ching so he can take HCL. I hope that doesn't work out, 'cause if he can't handle it, don't let him take it. Even though his Chinese is loads better than me when I was his age -.- I can't help it if English is just my language what. I DID score an A1 for Chinese before alright :) At least I'll still have English to give me an A. (which is really hard so I'm going to tyco. I got 72 so far.)

too-pid!

My results just got worse. Although I got 93 for Maths and 75 for D&T, I almost flunked my Science. SCIENCE. That was so unexpected. If it was Maths, I wouldn't be so surprised. I'm so amazing. 23/40. Great feat. Fabulous. That's a 58. ALL HAIL ME. -.-
Okay enough of my sarcasm. Really, I didn't know what to think that time. I knew I would not get an A1, but I didn't expect myself to do so badly. I thought I would get around 26 to 27. Shucks.
Thank goodness I managed to scrape a 76 for my total mark, because my Mid-years helped pull me up. If not, I'll be D-E-A-D.
Jasper and Janet, I hate you!!! :( Cheat my feelings sia, one get A1 for Geography & Science and the other one get full marks for Maths. Rawr.

Today was craptastic :(
I felt a little depressed and we got back our History SBQ, Chinese and Geography papers!!!
For History, I just passed (by half a mark) the SBQ which totally sucks!!! (Some even got 0, idk how they did that -.-) The teacher will be re-marking 'cause she was being really strict though!
For Chinese, I don't want to talk about it. I just passed (by a mark) due to my craptastic MCQ!!!!! I failed both the freaking sections for goodness' sake!!! I could have got the freaking 49 marks!!! LIFE SUCKSSSS!!! The worst thing is I'M NOT EMO-ING! T_T
For Geography, I got an A2. I need the stupid 2 marks desperately :/
Anyway, bad day to sum it all up!!!
I also got invited to Rebekah's barbecue -.- HuiYen, please go or else I really will be a fish out of water. Hohoho -.-

midnight post!

Olympics heat rushing down my spine! Singapore secured a medal for the Olympics in table tennis. What an amazing feat for the nation. I mean, it's been over 40 years since our last medal (Bronze/Silver?).
Alright... school is always so boring :l Seriously. I went to POD after school to have lunch, quite funny but it's a little rushed.
After that I went for CCA and took the bus home, I alighted earlier and walked back home as I wanted to think about some stuff and clear my mind. I am feeling quite depressed nowadays as no one is real anymore. All I see is "Pearlyn mama disown Jasmine daughter, want her to marry Jasper kor" and Janet dancing. Also, Isaac is treating me like crap again. I don't know what to do :l HuiYen has been talking to me about friendship and stuff. I mean, even if we patch up, things can never be the same again. I have no intention of doing too also. I'd rather save my breath.
I can't wait to graduate from Sec 2 and pick a new class next year. As much as I love 2R4, I hate to be part of it sometimes. There's so many mumblings and whispers, makes me feel tired and sick. I'm not worried if I'm not accepted. I don't even care if I am ugly or nerdy or that I like designing. I'm just doing my own thing.
CCA sucks too. I don't hate it but it's so difficult to communicate with my mates. Some people are such a bother. Yawn.
I just came back from the movies with my parents and brother, we watched "Money Not Enough II". It was quite funny at the starting scenes and also quite heartbreaking when they tell the story of the mother. Overall, the plot is quite irrelevant to the movie's theme as they talk about the problems with their family and the problems of money were not really shown or exaggerated.
There's a girl who's strikingly familiar who stars in the movie. I think she's from Ngee Ann -.- I forgot her name.
Anyway, it's still a Singaporean film theatre classic as there's slang, ERP blues and etc. Haha.

LOL. Something funny today. During Maths, HuiJie told me about how she had to get a new phone. It was because she once put it in a bag and her sister thought it was supposed to be thrown away, so she threw it into the dustbin without telling HuiJie, until the next day when she realised it was missing, AND THE GARBAGE TRUCK ALREADY LEFT. Oh my gosh hahahaha!!!!!!
Okay today I was quite sad. Not sure why, though. I completed my E. Lit and D&T papers half-heartedly, that's why I had no idea of the 5mm and 10mm stuff they were talking about. Sigh, I think I'll get 5 marks deducted off the ortographic drawings. Hate them, really.

olympic freak?

The past few days were wasted away watching the Olympics. Well I did read some notes a little, but the majority goes the the once-in-4-years games. I don't think I'm prepared for the tests :O
It was such a pity Tao Li did not get any medals for Singapore in her swimming. I guess it's extremely hard to also. I even stayed up till 2am last night just to watch the repeat of the Archery Women's Team Gold Medal Match :O
What a pity Ian Thorpe retired from the Olympic Games -.-
Yesterday was the silliest day... ever, I guess. I was at Tampines Swimming Complex and wanted to get a Coke, when it dropped into the dispenser (it's bottle shaped I think) there was a weird metal obstruction blocking the bottom of the dispenser so I had to try really hard to get the Coke bottle out, and in the end the skin on my finger was peeled off and it bled -.- It was so stupid.


I see their eyes and noses!


I'd go in if I were you.

FIESTA

FIESTA was tiring, mainly because it was sooo noisy and all the people were cramming into the temporary set-up. I really didn't need Chinatown right in the middle of the basketball court :( I had to stand up on the benches and call people over but to no avail.
Plus, few people purchased our chocolate mousses (though those who purchased enjoyed it) and fewer people purchased the teddy bears, partly because it was $4 and the U.P. of the bears were $12.50 (IMO, it is FREAKING overpriced), and they were just palm-sized. We raised around $450 in the end, inclusive of the soccer proceeds. Too bad the money isn't going into the class fund, instead, it will be given away to charity. Who knew money had wings too.
Bleaugh, I need to read my Science. I want Sara Bareilles' album. Hahaha.

chocolate mousse

Yo. School was alright I guess? Nothing's changed since. I got 97% for Maths and was 1 mark away from full, and I lost a mark maybe because of a careless mistake in the graph, I think. Oh well.
After school, I went to Jasper's house to make the chocolate mousses along with Michelle, XiuYun, Jasmine, HuiYen, JunJie etc. I didn't really chip in much but I kind of promised I would help them sell the mousses like hotcakes, lol. We went to his house first and played a game of Monopoly, but when we were setting up the game someone knocked down a water jug and it spilled across the floor like a flood. Lmao. Also, when Michelle, XiuYun and Jasmine arrived we were 15 minutes late in meeting them because we wanted to continue our game, which angered Jasmine quite badly later :X
Michelle lives really close to Jasper so it's really very convenient for them to travel between houses.
After all the work was done, we took 403 from outside her house and when the bus drove to the end of the road it turned about, which was pretty cool as it took passengers from bus stops at both ends. Hahaha. We then arrived at Jasper's usual alighting stop and parted ways.
I'm tired and I desperately need to study + complete my mask, so I'll end it here.

it kind of crept up into me by surprise

Last Saturday was spent at JunJie's house doing the E. Lit project. I am so glad we got it over and done with, hahaha.
As I am too lazy to blog a whole chunk of paragraph about it...
On board bus 81, almost missed my bus stop because I didn't ring the bell, was the first to reach, waited at the bus stop, got a great scare by HuiYen as she tapped me at the back, met the rest and left for JunJie's house, started reading the chapters, started on the project, hyper-ed around, did the Ellen dance, cracked some jokes, drank carrot juice, wrapped up the presentation, listened to 987, fooled around with JunJie's Rubik's cubes, got freezed by the fan, irritated by the ringing sounds of his fax machine, played MapleStory, watched Jeremy Hong on YouTube, had MSN conversations with Melissa and Isaac... I guess that's it.
I am expected to get the "Compare and Contrast" SBQ clear by this week and the format for Chinese formal letter writing clear by the EOYs. It. Is. Murder.

Okay, I'm still wondering why Pearlyn still didn't come to school. I think it was her brother, AGAIN. Mr Ong even asked me to check on him during recess to tell him why Pearlyn didn't come to school. That was so boliao.
The first lesson was E. Lit, and we had the presentations for our CA, my group will be presenting in the make-up lesson next week. The two groups of today presented and I felt that it was quite good. The second one was a tad too boring. I finished the 4th chapter of Animal Farm while they presented, LOL!
Okay then it was Maths which was boring... as usual. We started on a new topic.
Science was spent going through worksheets. Bleaugh. School is so suckish nowadays, no offense.
CME... we did a Racial Harmony quiz and listened to some NDP songs? Haha.
We went to POD after dismissal, I ate instant noodles (-.-) while the rest ate a little more. The food there is quite nice, and the staff is quite friendly too, but the toilets are super huge. Janet went into the boys' toilet. OMG.
Headed for school after lunch, and the weather was SWELTERING HOT -.- Janet was super funny because her hair got caught at the security guard's PVC shade and her clip fell off and she was like freaking out. LOL.
Then the anxiety began because we had to take the oral (!!!) but in the end it was quite okay except for the conversation when they talked about your views towards a third language -.-
HuiJie, HuiYen and Janet's plan failed because Don and Drew were super sarcastic towards them :O In the end, HuiJie sent bad messages to the radio station, which was funny. HAHA!
ICT next, and we slacked around. XinHui was spamming HuiYen's tagboard, which was quite hilarious because of the misunderstanding (Keith, a senior, calls HuiYen "Yenny" so I thought it was Keith from our class -.-!) and Janet kept trying to hack my MSN account. LOL.
So, ICT eventually ended and we went home. When I was walking along the pedestrian crossing, the sun was really hot and shining into my eyes, so I used a file to cover it, little did I know I almost got myself killed because a motorcycle almost crashed into me. I was pretty freaked out and I could imagine the scene if it REALLY happened... HuiYen would be screaming the death out of her, LOL!
