good-bye days

I just completed a personality type quiz. In case you're interested, I got it here.

Here's my personality report:

Alright, so the results were kind of unexpected but I've guessed the "extroversion-introversion" part right. It's almost the same. I can be open yet I can also be private. It's too weird, I guess.

This is the description for being ENTJ...
ENTJ - The "Chief"
ENTJs are strategic, organized and possess natural leadership qualities. They are master coordinators that can effectively give direction to groups. They are able to understand complicated organizational situations and quick to develop intelligent solutions. ENTJs are outspoken and will not hesitate to speak of their plans for improvement. They are decisive and value knowledge, efficiency and competence.

About the ENTJExpert Quotes & Links

"ENTJs are natural born leaders. They live in a world of possibilities where they see all sorts challenges to be surmounted, and they want to be the ones responsible for surmounting them. They have a drive for leadership, which is well-served by their quickness to grasp complexities, their ability to absorb a large amount of impersonal information, and their quick and decisive judgments."
- Portrait of an ENTJ (The Personality Page)

"...have a strong natural urge to give structure and direction wherever they are -- to harness people in the field and to direct them to achieve distant goals."
"leader, ambitious, hard working, dominant, prepared, hates to be bored, confident, opinionated, analytical..."
- Jung Type Descriptions (ENTJ) (similarminds.com)

""Unequivocating" expresses the resoluteness of the ENTJ's dominant function (Extraverted Thinking). Clarity of convictions endows these Thinkers with a knack for debate, or wanting knack, a penchant for argument. The light and heat generated by Thinking at the helm can be impressive; perhaps even overwhelming."
- ENTJ Profile (TypeLogic)

"At work, ENTJs contribute a wealth of energy directed toward the goals and those of the organization. Their sense of identity is closely tied to how they carry out their responsibilities. They are curious about new ideas and theories, evaluating them in terms of their goals. They are very efficient, competitive, strategic, and task focused."
- ENTJ - The Leader (Lifexplore)

Okay, screw that. I don't really think that's very accurate. In fact, I think that some of those claims are ridiculous. Maybe I didn't do the quiz properly? I have no idea but "natural born leaders"? You've got to be kidding me. I think I'm not fit to be a very good leader. But, I don't really give two hoots about what people think of my leadership qualities, so in the end... whatever.
My nose has been running for the entire day. I wonder how I can get rid of these allergies. Sneezing is so annoying. I hate Panadol, I once took that pill and my cold persisted for two more weeks. That obviously contributed to my frustration.

Anyway, here is a (Japanese) song I have been addicted to for the past week. The singer has a flexible voice and I like the theme of the song. Well, here's the Japanese lyrics for your reference.

Good-bye days
YUI

だからいま 会いにゆく そう決めたんだ
ポケットの この曲を 君に聴かせたい

そっとヴォリュームを上げて 確かめてみたよ

oh Good-bye days いま 変わる気がする 昨日までに so long
かっこよくない優しさがそばにあるから
~with you

片方の イヤフォンを 君に渡す
ゆっくりと 流れ込む この瞬間

うまく愛せていますか
? たまに迷うけど

oh Good-bye days いま 変わり始めた 胸の奥 alright
かっこよくない優しさがそばにあるから
~with you

できれば 悲しい 想いなんてしたくない
でもやってくるでしょ
?
そのとき 笑顔で "Yeah, hello my friend" なんてさ
言えたならいいのに
…

同じ唄を 口ずさむ時 そばにいて I wish
かっこよくない優しさに会えてよかったよ

…Good-bye days

life

Don't even feel like blogging, but after thinking about some things, I've decided to type it out. My keyboard is screwing up on me, so it's kind of difficult.
I feel so relaxed. I'm actually happy to be away from the things that makes school the way it is - class, teachers, staying back to study with my friends. I don't really give two hoots about the assignments I have to complete during the holidays. I'm happy to be away from the pressure that always make me competitive. Determination, perseverance, confidence... I'm happy to not hear all these words anymore. Streaming year has been fun, but more of tiring. I'm happy that I don't have to hear all these "Hey, I did badly too" although you got higher marks than me, "I've got to work harder" when I got higher marks than you and "I have to chiong like siao, I'm not going to give in to Maple anymore" when the exams were coming. These six weeks are going to be something light on my shoulders. Sure, there's still the usual holiday assignments, but I feel as if I have gone through a turbulent school semester. I'm glad it's over. I'm glad all the thoughts that cloud my head during all my long bus rides home are over. I'm glad I don't have to think about how much my friends get for their tests and exams and take a peek at report slips anymore. I'm glad I'm going through these six weeks of rest.

his girl friday

I just came back from a Japanese lunch with Tay Xi's cell members!!! Hahaha. Actually we planned to watch a movie but we couldn't communicate so... lunch. I snapped a few pictures of them, but the group shot was in another person's camera so I'll have to wait till he sends me that. But for now (excluding all my shots), here are the pictures:

Hui Yen and Tay Xi in the restaurant!

Tay Xi as the ninja of the forbidden bamboo forest!!!

Right, it's only two pictures for now. Pathetic, I know, but there are some shots I took of Hui Yen eating an orange and Tay Xi which they said were not very nice, so I decided not to put it up.
I have tuition later. Aww. Good day!

gotta be somebody

I'm procrastinating, still. I actually wanted to complete my Social Studies homework yesterday, but I ended up playing games and listening to music. Even though there's 6 weeks ahead of me, will I be able to finish the Chinese book? That kind of sucks.
I'm going to E!hub to meet Hui Yen and Tay Xi with her cell group members to catch a movie or go to KBox or something. I have tuition later at 4.30pm, which gives me even more hell. So I'll just complete my Math paper tonight.
Stupid stupid stupid. I need a timetable to plan it all out. This obviously won't do.

the life and times of...

Another day in the boring + mundane + uneventful + uninteresting life of ME.
I'm bored, no doubt. I can't wait to board the plane and I can't wait to arrive in Singapore again. I can't wait to take the tour bus to Genting Highlands and laze around in the hotel till the dead of the night, waiting for my parents to come back from their gambling.
Most importantly, I can't wait to get the textbooks tomorrow. I need to complete all of my homework so I will only have the Chinese storybook to worry about. I don't even feel like reading Chinese. It's kind of like Greek to me. I still wonder how I got A1 for my Paper 2 for the final term. That sucks. Sigh!
My phone has a touch screen, too. It makes the navigation a hundred times easier. There's also a stylus at the side of the phone. Cool, right?
Right. The boredom kind of gives me hell. Oh well. I'll go hide in one corner now.

how you love me now

I turned in super early yesterday, so I didn't find the time to blog.
So, I went to the briefing for the South Korea trip yesterday at school, and it was super pathetic. We went there to listen to the same things over again and we were dismissed like, what? 15 minutes later? A complete waste of my travelling time. So, we (Hui Yen, Jerome and Sofee) decided to head over to Changi Airport to walk around since we were already so far from home. We hooked up with Isaac at the airport and went to Terminal 3, then to Terminal 2, then to Terminal 1. It was a long walk but it was very fun. We kept snatching Jerome's Nerds! Here's a super lame conversation I had with Hui Yen, but the original one is in Chinese:
Hui Yen: Let's go to the hotel! (seductive look)
Me: Go to the hotel to do what?
Hui Yen: Drink water!!!
We tried to take a lot of pictures using Isaac's camera in timer but most of them were NGs. There was this uncle who just went up to us and asked us where was B1 or something of that sort. When he went down the lift later, I said he was going to take the lift to either P1, B1 or T1 (trying to mock him because I couldn't properly hear what he was saying). Then Hui Yen cracked a silly joke and said "PBT is PANG SAI BUAY TAHAN!!!" I was laughing like an idiot.
It was a silly day, to sum it all up. I went to buy my new phone today. It's a Sony Ericsson G900. I hate the fact that handphone companies like to name their handphones with numbers. It's just too confusing. I went to eat Fish and Co. today too, but it wasn't a very good experience because there was this sauce on the fish which I thought was cheese, so I scraped it off and felt disgusted throughout the whole meal... until Hui Jie told me (on MSN) that it was butter.
I need to take a shower.
