holding on to patience

I'm finally back from the camp. Once I reached home, had my lunch and shower, I plopped on my bed and slept (well I did some Maths homework before that) and the amazing thing was I slept all the way till 7pm when my parents came home. It was crazy.
Okay, about the camp. Overall it was fun, we played a lot of games and met people, lalala. Jerome and Siying had a cold war on the first day so she managed to go around with us. Isaac was in the same group as me haha. Yellow group ftw -.- Siying and Isaac kept reminiscing about ALTC during the camp. Maybe because Teng Lin (is it how you spell it?) was there and reminded them about it. Haha. Huiyen was being cute as usual (she made me laugh a lot during the barbecue, inside joke) and Pearlyn was funny. Hahaha. Huiyen and Xinhui pulled out a lot of antics too which was really funny but weird (o_O) at the same time.
I could really talk loads more about the camp, but I'm just not in the mood. We could chat or anything, I'm fine with that.
Bye :D

long post ahead

Thursday (12/06/08)
Okay, it turns out I didn't go to the movies. I completely forgot my family wanted to take me for a buffet, haha. I still remembered they were talking about some Ritz Carlton and Fullerton stuff. I thought we were having a buffet at some high-end restaurant, but it turns out we had it at the Changi Village's Saltwater. The place is really nice though. There's this swimming pool outside the restaurant and you just have to walk up a staircase and there you have it - water. It's like those contemporary housing where you open a door to jump in the pool, lol. Behind that was quite a great stretch of land. I think it's for golfing. The orange juice's $9, you'd better watch out x(.
After that we went to AMK Industrial Park to help my mother choose her office table. It was boring anyway. She didn't intend to change in the end.
We went to Kinokuniya after that. My mother wanted to do some shopping at Ngee Ann City, so yup. I bought stuff (-.-). It turns out that a lot of people (esp. girls) are obsessing over Stephenie Meyer books. Her "Eclipse" is about $9.90 in Kinokuniya, so maybe you can go there to get it? Haha. The stationery there is real rad, though. You can get pens and stuff shipped in from other countries a few months (maybe even years) in advance before Popular.

Friday (13/06/08)
I had my third round of tuition. The formulae is getting the best out of me, really. I get confused easily. But I think I have improved, the teacher said so anyway. I also watched some movies and episodes. 1 Litre of Tears is really sad, though.

Saturday (14/06/08)
I went out to get my haircut in the morning. Now it looks like I'm growing mushrooms or something. The barber said I had dandruff. Oh screw you -.-
We went to AMK to fetch my mother from her accounting lessons. She had to pay $200 for an exam, but I think education's worth it. Then, we went up to her office to get her table measured (that was when she decided she didn't need a new table for her other colleague to share anymore). I was just lazing around with my brother there. I drank a lot of water from the dispenser (lol) and the scissors there are really cool -.-
After that, we had dinner at Changi Point, Siglap there you know. It turns out Changi was way livelier than I thought. I was always tend to go "oh, airport." when it comes to Changi. lol. I even saw hookers there -.-, the hawker centre had so many people and it was blazing hot in there and about to go on fire -.-
Finally, we stopped by at Elias to buy correction tape refills and stuff.

Btw, the song is something I heard from Cold Case. The show's great, every ending they play a song and the victims get "seen". It's so sad. I especially like "The Sleepover", where a 12-year-old girl was pushed down a cliff, "Death Row: Final Appeal", where a person was raped and murdered, an episode which idk the title when a baseball player was hit dead because he was gay and some more. There's also "The Goodbye Room", "Beautiful Little Fool" and "A Perfect Day". God, that show rocks.

Okay, it's getting late. I'm tired. Blog tomorrow, bye.

indecisiveness

Alright! I feel quite accomplished. I've finished all these so far:
- Science Graphic Organisers
- Science Human Genome Project Forum etc.
- English Webquest Complaint Letter
- 2 HeyMath! Benchmarking Tests (...)
- Maths Revision Papers

As usual, I have not continued reading my Chinese book. I will try to read about 5 chapters today.

Yi Ren, Jun Jie and Hui Yen came over to my house to do the English OC yesterday. It was also the day I had bubble tea in almost 2 months. We managed to finish the OC while Yi Ren was busy playing Maple with Jun Jie and all. I think I'm going to the movies with them (again) tomorrow.

unsuccessful outing

I just came back from the movies at E!Hub. It was a VERY unsuccessful and pathetic outing, lol, because only 3 out of about 9 showed up.

1. Pearlyn initially planned to go but because of last-minute decisions she was forced to not attend.
2. Jasmine had something up at school.
3. Jun Jie, Serene and Xinyi already watched the movie (-_-lll)
4. Janet and Hui Jie didn't feel like going.
5. Yi Ren's parents would not give him consent.
6. Hui Yen did not reply her SMSes (!!!)

Oh well LOL! The movie was quite okay anyway. It's The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. lmao.

new computer

I finally got my new computer. It's a Sony VAIO. Is it good?
Today, my new tutor came. He was a bit shy, but anyway, HE'S A SCHOLAR FROM CHINA.
Then I went to Tampines Mall to get my new computer. I met a number of people today when I went to Popular, I saw Tay Xi and Melissa. I think I saw Melissa outside of school twice already. I think they saw my brother.
After that, I went home -_- carried the whole thing on to public transport. I still remember my mother got a free luggage at some promotion in Isetan and we tugged the whole chunk and walked around Century Square.
Well, I'm still busy programming this computer. What a pain in the neck -_- At least it doesn't lag out on me.

Tag Replies:
Charlene: Oh, okay.
Stella: Coolio.
Hui Jie: I'm not very obsessed in anime, anyway...

freaky stuff

I read the Chinese newspaper yesterday and a maid fell to her death from the 15th floor at Ris Grandeur (ahem, only a few blocks away from my house) and I suddenly thought about Serene and the fact that she has a maid. I think she lives at the 14th floor. It's scary shit.
What's worse is that stupid Saving Gaia commercial. The commercial where they take that kind of dummy that looks like those used in Chinese horror movies and such, with large eyes, and they saw half of its face off, and the black ink oozed out like blood. TBQH, it gives me the creeps. Does it have anything to do with saving the Earth anyway? Weird. o_O
I still remember I got totally freaked out by a commerical about AIDS and casual sex (I think I was in P4 or P5 then) then there's this dark hotel scene with freaky music... and lesbians... gosh. -_-
The other one was the first time I saw that smoking commercial with the woman with a totally deformed mouth. Well, to be honest, the first time I watched it, I was completely freaked out as I was just reclining on the armchair enjoying a packet of chips when suddenly this thing come out. Wtf.
Okay, enough about commercials. The Saving Gaia thing is sending chills down my spine.
Anyway, do leave a tag, alright? My tagboard is collecting heaps of dust.

well, apparently...

I've moved back here. Oh well.
I guess I never really did fancy Wordpress that much.
I made a new layout for this weblog also.
How kind of me -_-
